PAIRA COOKIES POLICY
Paira Technologies, Inc.
Effective date: August 15, 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how Paira Technologies, Inc. ("Paira," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.joinpaira.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy at www.joinpaira.com/legal-pages/privacy-policy, which explains more generally how we handle personal information.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser or device. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company through that website are called third-party cookies. Similar technologies, including local storage, software development kits, tracking pixels, and web beacons, work differently but serve comparable purposes, and this Policy covers them as well.
2. What We Use Today
Our website currently uses only cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to make the site work and to keep it secure, together with the limited functional storage described below. We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing pixels on the website. In particular, the website does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, or any comparable advertising or measurement technology.
| Category | What it does | Can you refuse it |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Supports core site functions, including page delivery, security, load balancing, and abuse prevention | No. The site cannot be provided without these. They do not identify you for marketing purposes. |
| Functional | Remembers information you enter, such as waitlist sign-up details, so the form works correctly | Yes, through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended |
The waitlist on our website is operated using our hosting provider and our messaging provider, which are described in our Privacy Policy. They are infrastructure services rather than advertising or analytics tools.
3. Our Mobile Application
Our mobile application does not use cookies. It does use software development kits that collect information for attribution, subscription management, push notifications, and crash and performance reporting. Those are described in our Privacy Policy rather than here, and they are governed by the choices your device offers, including the app tracking and notification permissions in your device settings.
4. What We Plan to Add
We intend to add marketing and product analytics technologies to the website and to the app after launch, which may include analytics, tag management, advertising conversion measurement, social media pixels, and error reporting. None of them are in use today. Before any of them is deployed on the website, we will:
- Deploy a consent banner and a preference center that lets you accept or reject each non-essential category before any non-essential technology is set on your device.
- Update this Policy to name the categories in use and describe what each one does.
- Honor opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as described in Section 5.
- Obtain any consent that applicable law requires before using such technologies in connection with sensitive information.
Until that happens, there is no consent banner on the website because there is nothing to consent to beyond the strictly necessary and functional cookies described in Section 2.
5. Your Choices
5.1 Browser controls. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is set. The method varies by browser, and the help menu in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or Opera explains how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site from working.
5.2 Opt-out preference signals. Our website does not currently detect the Global Privacy Control signal. At present we neither sell nor share personal information and we run no advertising or analytics technology on the website, so there is nothing for the signal to opt out of. We will implement detection, and treat the signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing for that browser, before we deploy any of the technologies described in Section 4.
5.3 Device controls. On your mobile device, you can manage app tracking, location, notification, and advertising identifier settings through your device privacy settings.
5.4 Industry opt-outs. Where advertising technologies are in use, industry programs offer additional opt-out tools, including those operated by the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. These tools govern participating advertising companies and do not affect the cookies described in Section 2.
6. Changes to This Policy
We will update this Policy when the technologies we use change, and the effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Where a change means we begin using a category of technology that was not previously in use, we will update this Policy before that use begins rather than afterward.
